YUM
We had dozens of apples still left from our Apple picking trip. Many of them were starting to turn. So after a friend suggested I make desert with them, I found this great recipe. We had it tonight after dinner and everyone loved it. It is super easy. And healthy.
Okay, it is not even remotely healthy, but it is so good. I just threw that in there to make it sound good.
APPLE-OATMEAL CRISP
1 1/2 lbs. apples (4)
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
3/4 c. oatmeal
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. flour
Arrange apples in casserole (sliced). Melt butter; add sugar, oatmeal, flour, cinnamon until crumbly. Sprinkle over apples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Serve with whip cream or ice cream.
