Black Eyed Boy

Mikie has a black eye.

I wish I could say there was a good story to go along with these photos.

He didn't get in a fight. Even though it sure looks like he did.

Instead he slipped going up the ladder on his bunkbed and hit his eye on the corner. It swelled up so big I thought for sure we were headed to the ER. It really freaked me out. But, after some ice it went down. In the morning he couldn't open it. This afternoon it was looking better.

Oddly enough, he seems proud of it. He even asked me to take pictures. And then wanted to know if I was going to put them on my blog.

Boys are so weird.
